Network Security Analyst

Description: Redphone is looking for a Network Security Analyst to perform expert analysis of security events and logs from customers' security devices. The primary focus of this position is security monitoring and analysis across multiple tools and technologies and reporting potential suspicious or malicious activity to customers. This position is a shift position that will work in our Managed Security Services operations center on the 24x7 security analysis team. This individual will also work closely with our security engineers and applied research group. This key individual should be a creative thinker who is passionate about security.

Responsibilities: Monitor various security devices and report on suspicious security events to the customer. Generate customer tickets and provide to the customer phone based support to help bring security incidents to resolution. Evaluate, review, and recommend action to customers based on their security posture. Maintain awareness of current threats and vulnerabilities. Monitor and troubleshoot device health issues. Perform device trouble-shooting and engineering support, as required. Support the implementation of new security products/services for customers.

Job Requirements

Technologies/ Skills:

Help Desk Tier 1 Specialist

Description: Tier 1 customer support and first contact resolution. At least 1 year experience in performing similar help desk support using an automated ticketing system, opening and completing tickets, and using a knowledge base (preferred, not required). Description: Perform system administration and desktop support, receiving tickets from an automated ticketing system (Remedy). Security Requirements : Minimum Interim Secret

Description: This position is for a senior-level administrative assistant who directly supports a Government executive within the AMSAA Security Branch (75% of job requirement). Additionally, operates as site lead for a 12-person contract (25% of job requirement).

Site Lead Requirements :

  1. 1. Supervises and organizes daily operations, instructing contractor employees on overall tasks and job techniques.

Network Planning Analyst IV

The engineer will also prepare all documents required to add, change, or delete services to the network. The Network Engineer will participate in systems analysis and design definition of the network. Identifies problems and risk areas globally and/or within the assigned geographical Area of Responsibility (AOR) and advises management of actions required to mitigates their impact. Identifies impacts on network services, capabilities, and availability as changes in the network configuration are planned and executed including contingency restoration plans and exercise scenarios. Maintains the network master timing plan. Performs detailed studies of network performance identifying key management parameters that will be used to determine network performance and individual circuit availability rate and to perform trend analysis. Serves as a technical expert advising the customer on technology matters.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or other related scientific or technical discipline. Minimum of five (5) years general experience of which three (3) years must be specialized. Specialized experience includes: administering complex EMS solutions, supervision of system administrators and administration of operating systems.
